What does this mean for your children?
From September 2016 – a child will be entitled to free pre-school in the September, January or April following his/her 3rd birthday up to when he/she starts primary School, providing the child does not reach the age of 5 ½ before 30th June of the year of starting Primary School.

Children who are eligible in the current year 2015/16:
If your child is eligible for Free Pre-School Year in 2015/16 and born between 1 January 2012 and 30 June 2012 that child is also entitled to a second Free Pre-School Year in 2016/17
