Dear Rainbow & Ribbon room Parents,
I just wanted to let you know about a new initiave that we have introduced with the children.
On one day of the week we ask the children to be a special friend with another child.The adult picks the pairs. The idea is that you play with your friend, sit beside each other for snack and generally help out and take care of one another that day.
Nobody is forced to be anybody’s friend but we do encourage it throughout the day.
The idea is to facilitate children to mix with new boys and girls that maybe they haven’t spent time with before and it hopefully prove useful when children go to school and find new boys and girls in their class.
Do chat with your child’s key worker if you have any questions or concerns.
