Dear Parents,

Parking

I have received a concern from a worried parent about reversing cars.

The concern is about cars that are parked perpendicular to and facing the parish hall. She feels that when walking on the pathway, located between the road and parish hall, towards the gate of the school, that cars reversing out of this space cannot see pedestrians on the path and those pedestrians and are in danger of being hit.

She has asked would it be possible for cars that park in this space to reverse into the space so that the front of the car faces out towards the road. In this way when you are pulling out to leave you have full view of parents and children walking towards the school.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Please do come and speak with me if you need any clarification.

Siblings Visit

On this Friday 26th February some national schools may have the day off because of voting. We would like to invite any older siblings to come and play from 11.00 to 12pm. Last year was the first year that we invited older siblings in to play and it was a great success – a bit crazy but a great day!

Parents are welcome to wait in the parent and toddler room during this time.

Please let Sandra, Niamh or Muriel know if you have and older sibling that will come so we have an idea of numbers.

St Patricks Day and Easter Break
